HOWL! proudly debuts the CARL SOLOMON BOOK EXPO! On Saturday September 8th and Sunday September 9th, the central paths of Tompkins Square Park will feature an
extravaganza of tables representing small press publishers of cutting edge comics, graphic novels, literature, and poetry, as well as downtown book vendors.

The Carl Solomon Book Expo is named for the Beat legend responsible for getting the first novels of William Burroughs and Jack Kerouac in print, and who was the inspiration for Allen Ginsberg's seminal poem Howl. We are all in Rockland with Carl Solomon!
