Howlucination! Low Life, A celebration of our Bowery history in revue produced by Chi Chi Valenti and Johnny Dynell. Our fabulous audience comes dressed in turn of the century Bowery Chic! Burlesque and Laughter make this a never to be forgotten experience!

 The Annual Reading of Allen Ginsberg Poem “Howl” and Poetry Festival  directed by Robert Holman and featuring an array of New York’s Premiere Poets. Followed by a classical music concert: Magic under the trees!

Hip Hop Howl! Our super hot showcase of hip hop talent is introduced by Crosmopolitan and  Miz Metro. 

Art Battles Live painting slam combines the action of live painting with the drama of competition.

Urban Word return to battle; Hip Hop teen dance and our exciting youth  program.

Howl in Boots! Panto with a twist! A plethora of talent takes the stage.

• Art Around the Park. This is an inclusive space for individual artists to create new works on a giant canvas stretching around Tompkins Square Park’s perimeter fence. This offers them public exposure and chance to converse with the community—a  much beloved tradition for years. Over 140 participating artists and growing...

• Howl! Kidz., our children’s festival offers free activities, performers, puppet shows, and participation for families. Children from underserved parts of the community get excited about culture, performance, and their own creative process.

• Arteries’ Art in the Park, commissions new works by neighborhood artists and presents them in the park throughout the festival’s run.

• The Carl Solomon  Small Press Fair placing local writers, photographers, and fine- and comic artists in direct contact with the public, including readings.
